Breathe Carolina - Board Design 1 by cronobreaker Breathe Carolina - Board Design 1 by cronobreaker
There's a pretty rad skateboard comp going on in collaboration between DeviantART and several bands. Go check it out if you want to see your work printed up on a board!

The template on the right is the competition template and the one of the left is to give an idea of how it would look if printed.

The left template was made by nunosk8:

If you don't mind me asking do you use the pen tool over a sketch or do you just draw it out with the brush on a tablet I'm guessing? Reason I ask it because I use illustrator too but I'm not as experienced or as comfortable with it as you are haha. I usually draw/outline then send it over to photoshop for color but sometimes I just want those clean crisp color lines ya know :)

Yeah I lay down a sketch in Illustrator and use pen/brush tools to create my line work and colouring. I find it easier to use a Wacom tablet too, though it all comes with lots and lots of practice:)
